Raquel Layson

Raquel is one of our newest employees, only joining the team in February 2024. She graduated at ACLC, a computer school in Tacloban, with a degree in Business Administration. She decided to apply because of how her friend, a current employee, describes GAPLabs: great work environment, opportunities for professional development, and perks.

Aki, as she is fondly called, loves to try different cuisines, watch K-dramas, belt her lungs out at karaoke, and swim in pools—albeit the shallow type, with a maximum depth of 4 feet. Despite the motion sickness, she loves traveling to places with good food and a pool. Her dream destinations include Hong Kong Disneyland, Japan, and South Korea.
